Iwalenia Adelaja has dedicated 38 years to the field of Accounting and is currently a founding member and

principal partner in the esteemed firm of Erastus and Co. Certified Accountants, London, UK. By becoming a part of the ChiYoWo Empowerment Initiative as its Financial Director, she offers service that draws not only on her experience in this field but also on her known competence as a negotiator.

A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Fellow of Institute of Financial Accountants UK, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria and a member of International Professional Managers Association UK. She has contributed to the Education sector as a Lecturer at Bexley College, Kent in the UK and worked in various organizations in Nigeria. She was Chief Financial Officer of ENL Consortium Ltd in Nigeria. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Pecuniary Consulting Limited.  Mrs Adelaja is a trustee committed to active and worthwhile involvement in the attainment of ChiYoWo’s objectives.

Mrs Adelaja’s managerial experience spans three decades and she has accumulated enviable skills in the areas of audit, taxation, strategy and policy decisions. She prides herself on her ability to “manage projects and oversee the completion of tasks transparently and to specific deadlines”. These combined her with excellent communication skills are key assets to the projects she becomes involved in. They are most certainly indispensable to her interactions with ChiYoWo.
