Aisha Abdulazeez is currently the Deputy Director of the National Population Commission, Yobe State. She is also a Local Engagement Consultant with Young Women’s Support Groups in the Partnership for Reviving Routine Immunization in Northern Nigeria; Maternal Newborn and Child Health Initiative (YWSG PRRINN/MNCH). These positions make her acutely aware of and integrally involved with the sector of the population that is ChiYoWo’s focus as she takes up the mantle of the organization’s Project Manager for Community Development.

Mrs Abdulazeez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography as well as a Masters in Public Administration. These, along with the fact that she was a part of UNICEF’s Nutritional Survey in 2011, make her uniquely qualified to contribute meaningfully to the projects ChiYoWo undertakes.

A “proactive and effective team player” she employs problem solving and communication skills to the tasks she is assigned. As a result, Mrs Abdulazeez can work effectively in multi-cultural settings and efficiently multi-task to achieve the best outcomes for those she is devoted to serving. Her work with ChiYoWo reflects her outlook on volunteering her services to the growth of her country.
